Dylan Jones is the editor of British GQ. Jones studied design and photography at Chelsea School of Art and St. Martins School of Art before becoming the editor of i-D magazine in 1984.
An illustrious veteran of lifestyle journalism, Dylan Jones has seen it all in the world of fashion and style, having been involved with lifestyle magazines for three decades. He has since been an editor at The Face, Arena, The Observer and The Sunday Times.
He has authored numerous publications, including a best-selling biography of Jim Morrison entitled Dark Star in 1990, Mr Jones Rules: How To Be A Modern Man in 2008, and The Biographical Dictionary of Popular Music in 2012. Jones won the Editor of the Year award for his work on Arena in 1993.
Since 1999, Dylan has led GQ to over 30 awards while winning nearly a dozen personal awards in the process, including being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2013 by the Queen of England.
